I have 2 craftsman 1 2 hp door openers each car has a remote and i am trying to get my remote to open with the large button on the remote and my wife s door to open with the other button. I tried resetting them but now the large button opens both doors at the same time. Any ideas would be appreciated. Even after putting new batteries in the remote the garage door still is not. Consequently the opener will not react to activation prompts if the settings are off and the garage door won t close.

A dead battery is not the only issue that can prevent a remote from doing its job. When i returned from work today i pushed the button on my remote garage door opener but the door didn t budge. My garage door won t open or close the motor runs and the shaft turns bur doesn t engage the chain.
