Nissan Note Door Lock Buzzing

By the way all locks are still working at the moment but i m concerned about the damage that continued use will do.

You can feel it vibrating if you put your hand on it and activate the lock remotely with the key. Should be an easy fix. Sounds like the power lock solenoid is busted esp if its only that one door. Ask your own nissan question customer reply replied 1 year ago.

If the electric motor or the mechanism inside the door lock actuator wears out the door lock may lock or unlock slowly or work sometimes but not all the time. I don t know how much the cost is but i suppose you may be able to disconnect the power to that particular lock so that it only works manually. Usually a buzzing noise when locking the doors is a sign that either the door lock actuator is failing or it is bound up and it cant move. The buzzing noise is coming from the black plastic unit which locks the door on the passengers side.

Popping off the door panel is pretty straight forward which will give you access to the part. Put your ear to the door and listen to where the grinding buzzing noise is coming from when you lock the door sometimes it maybe more than one door.
