Hello 2016 sienna power sliding doors will not open or close using inside buttons or key fob.
No power buttons work on my sienna sliding door rh.
I get a series of beeps when trying to open it.
Issue is with passenger sliding door.
Hi i have a 2004 toyota sienna.
Has power sliding doors.
It closed and can not open it with fob overhead console switch handles etc.
No it s a rental but all other buttons work.
Step 2 raise the hood of the van and disconnect the negative battery cable with a wrench.
Have you checked the fob s battery.
It just stopped working.
My 2005 sienna s sliding doors quit working simultaneously.
The rear hatch is fully functional.
How to prevent sliding doors freezing.
Can you give me some direction for diagnostic.
I took my 2005 xle limited to the dealer with the same symptoms power doors open only with handles not with the buttons thinking it would be covered by the warranty extension.
And i ve confirmed the off button is not activated.
The last button on the overhead console will prevent the power sliding door for operating via the door handles and the button on the b pillar.
No remote driver ceiling buttons or outside latches will open close the doors with or without the manual slide door button driver controlled showing orange on off.
Only the cable assembly and door latch.
But i could not locate any blown fuse.
Found instructions for reseting the power door battery on sienna it requires that you disconnect the battery wait 5 minutes and reconnect press open button on the remote key fob to open the door close the door wait 10 seconds then open the door with the remote again close the door wait 10 seconds open with the remote a third time.
Press the sliding door control button on the sienna s dashboard so that the red line on the button is illuminated.
Are you fixing your.
Any ideas on what to check.
The electric motor s circuit will become overloaded and this will trip the fuse and prevent the door from being closed entirely.
Close the sliding doors.
My first guess was the motor was overloaded and some fuse was blown.
This happens when the power sliding door isn t able to latch on properly due to something blocking it.
I found the door was really stuck by freezing water.
The doors will still power operate via the key fob.
