I would start by checking if the electrical connection to the latch is supplying the voltage that causes the lock solenoid to lock and unlock.
Not getting ppwer fir sam to rear door hatch lock.
If i get in and try the unlock on the drivers side stretching from the passenger side it won t unlock.
However the drivers doors and the passenger rear door do not lock or unlock.
I have tried switching the lock and unlock relay that is located in the fuse panel and it still does the same thing.
The rear doors and the back hatch will not lock with the power locks.
It doesn t make any difference locking the car by using they key fob the touch sensors or the inside door lock unlock buttons either way you do it still same 50 50 shot of it locking.
It does not mater if i am using the remote or if i am using the lock unloc button on the drivers door.
It made noise and opened partially.

Been going on for about 8 months now.
Currently the rear hatch door broke in that it won t properly open with the key.

The only way to unstick the lock is hitting the unlock button on the door then hitting it again to lock it.
My rear hatch is about a 50 50 shot on locking.
Went down picked up 2 fresh ones and wala.
The only way i can open and close it now is by crawling through the car and using the small finger hole manual release.
