If you suspect that the sensor is at fault you should first remove the power to the oven for a few moments and then reconnect. Should the oven lock during a bake cycle press the clear off pad and allow the range to cool to room temperature. Once inside the oven switch the lock from the inside of the oven. If no food or utensils are in the oven start a self clean cycle then hit clear off after 60 seconds.

The oven door has been locked accidentally if there is food in the oven let the oven cool to room temperature and try to unlatch the door. Allow the cleaning cycle to run for about 60 seconds and then cancel it. Sometimes the cleaning process will take over and unlock your oven as it should when cleaning is complete. If this does not resolve the issue service may be needed.

This may reset the control and allow you to unlock the door. If there are screws near the top or front that attach the oven top to the base unscrew them and pull the oven top up. The oven should unlock. Detach the oven door.

Clear the lock mechanism as indicated by the door loc light by pressing and holding in the oven door light switch for 20 to 30 seconds. Press cancel off key to start a latch reset wait 20 30 seconds and open door turn the power off at the circuit breaker or fuse box for one minute then turn the power back on.

Once cool reset it again to your desired baking temperature. Allow the oven to cool approximately 30 90 minutes move the latch arm to the left to unlock the door.
