Wipe it down with a damp rag just before painting. Begin by rolling paint on the flat panels. And i know that makes no sense as technically you have less surface area to paint than your average door but it s the glass. Begin by applying paint to the inside of the top panels.

Consider a paint additive to slow down drying and improve leveling. Smooth out the paint working with the grain.
