If all of the door locks are inoperative start your diagnosis at the fuse box.
Passenger side automatic door lock not working.
Have the same problem with my driver side lock i believe i need a new actuator.
Just make sure the key is on.
A fuse is blown.
This is a cheap and easy fix.
If it s not sending a signal the fob will likely have to be replaced.
The solenoid is bad.
I have an 08 altima 2 5s and two days ago my driver s side door lock stopped working in response to the remote the keyless entry button on the door handle and the lock button on the inside.
The only way to lock unlock it is manually push the lock from the inside or use the key from the outside.
Chances are your solenoid is burned up or maybe a loose connection.
If one door doesn t work but others do the problem could be a blown fuse.
Replacing it may require removing the car door panel.
If i insert the key into the passenger side door the lock doesnt open close.
All three other door locks respond normally.
